The Pfirst Date

Okay, tonight's the first date and girls you are nervous on anything from what to wear to where the heck is this guy taking you. While fellas your main concern is "where the heck am I taking her?"  Not to fear! I am here with a Plan! I will break it down by gender for you...

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies
   - First and foremost, calm yourself! Hes already asked you out on the date so he must think your pretty swell.
   - Secondly, if you have absolutely nothing to wear I highlly suggest you go to one of my new favorite boutiques called Dress Up --> if you live anywhere near Suwannee Sports Academy, you need to go! The get new shipments in every week so they always have something fresh and affordable.
Dress Up Website
   - Now if you are on the "empty wallet" side I'll let you in on a little secret! I do one of two things if I'm at a loss for style. I either 1) go through my old Facebook pictures and creep the hell out of my outfits orr 2) Go on http://pinterest.com/ and type in things like first date outfit, or any key word/ clothing I want to wear (i.e: high waisted skirt, bar top, ect)
- Once you know what your going to wear, your set! Let him worry about where you two are going :p

Fellas
   - First things first, you are not taking her to a movie so go ahead and cross that off!
   - Secondly, if you applied cologne anywhere below that belly button of yours...slap yourself

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, here's what you are going to do!
   - Seeing as how there is a 99% chance that there is a game on that you want to watch, I have the place.
-You are going to take her to
                              Cheekys Mexican Taqueria http://eatatcheeky.com/
   - Did I mention tabs on your table and TVs all around the restaurant? Yeah, your welcome!
   - The food is also amazing, its wicked cheap, and the service is fast!
   - The one thing I do have to warn you about is the wait! So you might want to get there early orr leave your dignity at the door and go shopping with your date around The Avenue.

Bottled Beers at Cheekys
PS: I would also recommend the Margaritas if the dates a No Go! I had one there for my birthday (think it was the Caronaritta) and it even made getting old feel all nice and bubbly.

Kirstys Krafts for Kids

Although it doesn't happen as often as it should; when it rains in Georgia, it POURS! So this means you are stuck in the house ALL day with your kids. Not to fear, Kirsty's Krafts and activities are here!

Below I have listed anything from ideas, activities, crafts, and games to play on this rainy day. So put away those same old Disney movies and get out the craft box!

  • Go to Micheal and by those wooden frames and have your kids decorate them
  • Have them paint their very own garden..only using their fingers

  • One of my all time favorites: Making cookie batter and putting them in a waffle maker to bake. YUMMY!!
  • Turn out all the lights in the house and play "hide and go seek"
  • Cook a homemade Pizza
  • Build your own blanket out of old t-shirts and blankets
  • Make a fort in your living room and then take a nap in it!
  • Make breakfast for dinner
  • Make a Valentines Day card for dad
  • Have a treasure hunt with a map leading to a hidden treasure chest or prize.
  • Decorate a pet rock or make a monster out of socks.
At the end of the day I'm sure your kids won't care what you do, as long as you all are having fun! I hope these ideas help and that sunny days are soon to come!

Okay I admit it, I'm no cougar; but I recently got the great pleasure of seeing you ladies in action and I had a blast! So single ladies who are looking for a place to go, and men who are looking for a place to find single ladies..LISTEN UP!

First you start off at Marlow's Tavern located in the Avenue on Old Alabama Road, in Alpharetta.
-You want to get there fairly early because the place is packed by 8:00 PM
-You can go there for dinner with friends but I recommend going for appetizers and drinks by the bar
   - The dress is anywhere from jeans and a polo to a straight from work suit.
   - Guys there are plenty of TVs for you to watch the game so calm yourself

Once you've had a few drinks there, get ready for a great time at Coo Coo's Nest

Take me out to the ball game!

With the baseball season right around the corner what better way to spend time with your friends and family then to go to The Atlanta Braves Baseball game!
   - the tickets range anywhere from $10 nose bleeders to 70-95$ front and center seating
and you can also buy group tickets if your going with more people! (Also keep in mind money for parking and concessions)
-Be sure to get there early to set up your tailgate and to get a good parking spot!
-Once you set up your tailgate area crack open a beer, get out the cornhole and have some fun. There is plenty of room for anything from the kids playing around to the boys tossing the football.

After the game and if you are going with friends I highly suggest going to Fado an Irish Pub in Buckhead
   - it is a 3 store bar, that has a rooftop that is out of this world!
  - there is a great choice of beers to choose from ( I suggest Strongbow! its delicious, tastes like apple juice, and after two you cant feel your face:)
   - ladies if your going and its a girls night..dress to impress because the bouncers are oh so cute, and they have  accents that make you melt!
-Guys if your going don't worry about missing the game, they have TVs everywhere!
   - Last time I was there they also had a great DJ so wear comfy shoes.

"The Trifecta"

The trifecta (as my family likes to call it) is when you go to Sweet Water Brewery, Anticos Pizzeria, and  Ormsby's Tavern all in one night. This is how it works:

You start off at Sweetwater Brewery from 5:30-7:30
   -its a 10$ cover
-this 10 bucks give you 6 tickets for drinks and a Sweetwater glass to keep.
   - the only problem is, you have 2 hours to drink 6 beers! So keep your eyes on the prize!
Beers On Tap

After that you move on down the road to Anticos
-its a BYOB pizza place that serves the best pizza and desserts on earth!!
   - its a smaller seating area, so you have to get there fast and be aggressive!
-the also only make pies until they run out of dough, so be sure to call and check before you make the drive but don't be scared by the crowd. The service in incredibly fast and the wait is worth it.

Finally once your full and re-charged you make your way to Ormsby's Tarvern
-its a restaurant with a bar down stairs that offers backgammon, bocce, darts, pool, and shuflleboard!
- it has a great variety of drinks, atmosphere, and plenty of room to move around and sit.

Below I have listed the websites for each place containing their address, hope you enjoy:)
