Melting Crayons Made Easy

How to Melt Crayons on a Canvas!

What you'll need: a blow dryer, crayons, newspaper, a canvas, and a hot glue gun

First you have to hot glue your crayons on your canvas.
  • Be sure to do it in the color order you want
  • It melts better if the point of the crayon is faced downward
  • You can experiment like I did and do different types of shapes and color
Next you want to spread out your newspaper to catch any spills
  • you may want to tape them down before you turn your dryer on
Finally I found it worked best if you lean your canvas against something (this allowing your crayons to melt)
  • Once I got the hang of it I would move the canvas around to cover all the white.
